At the conclusion of the Conference Finals, the winning teams will be awarded The Bob Cousy Trophy (East) and The Oscar Robertson Trophy (West).

Continuing with the theme of honoring its legends, in recognition of the best players in the respective series, an MVP trophy will be awarded for both conferences with the East’s trophy named after Larry Bird and the West named after Magic Johnson.

Bird’s dominance of the Eastern Conference as a member of the Boston Celtics in the ’80s led them to five Finals appearances, going head-to-head with Magic Johnson and the Lakers on three occasions.
